Yeah, This is the Donald Trump America Elected.
It’s time to acknowledge the uncomfortable.
It hasn’t even been three weeks yet.
Not even three weeks, and I and I’m sure countless others are already trying to comprehend what has already happened, and how the damage could ever be undone. It’s been a whirlwind that has unfortunately prompted me to consider, realistically, four years from now if there would ever be a version of the Democratic Party with the strength and willpower to really undo what has happened and try to correct it.
Unlikely.
We’re witnessing in real time the oligarchy revealing itself in it’s most blatant form, and with it comes the reality that the Democratic Party as we know it is incentivized to allow this to continue, at least to an extent. None of this will ever fully be undone in this system.
But how did we get here?
I think it’s time to have some more uncomfortable conversations.
You’ll see some people out there saying this isn’t who America voted for. They’ll paint this picture of someone acting entirely on his own, going completely rogue and act as though all of this is some sort of surprise.
It’s not true.
