Would Trump Pardon Himself?
Of course he would.
I don’t often find myself agreeing with Hillary Clinton.
Since she announced her intentions to run for President heading into the 2016 election, it was difficult to find qualities in her campaign style and platform that I liked. There was little about her personality that seemed genuine, and the energy given off throughout that entire election season was far too cocky and comfortable. Having said all that, she’s snuck into the headlines once again making a comment that seems inarguable.
Lauren Irwin with The Hill writes:
In an interview set to air Sunday, former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said she doesn’t believe former President Trump when he said it would be very unlikely that he would pardon himself.
“I don’t believe him on anything,” Clinton told MSNBC’s Jen Psaki. “Why should I start believing him on that?”…
…“Whenever [Trump] accuses somebody else of doing something, it’s almost guaranteed he’s doing it himself or he’s already done it,” she said. “Or whenever he denies thinking about doing something or doing it, it’s almost guaranteed he is thinking about it or he’s already done it.”…”
I mean, she’s not wrong, is she?
