Why is the Florida Attorney General Investigating the College Football Playoff Committee?
Time to discuss this waste of resources.
Even if you don’t follow college football playoffs, if you’ve watched ESPN or scrolled through articles on The Athletic, there’s a chance you’ve probably heard about the recent decision of the college football playoff committee. More specifically, their decision to leave undefeated ACC champions Florida State Seminoles out of the college football playoffs due mainly to the loss of their star quarterback Jordan Travis.
That was a tough one to swallow particularly when you read Travis’ reaction to the decision on Twitter, where he wrote:
“devastated. heartbroken. In so much disbelief rn, I wish my leg broke earlier in the season so y’all could see this team is much more than the quarterback. I thought results matter. 13–0 and this roster matches up across any team in those top 4 rankings. I am so sorry. Go Noles!”
“I wish I broke my leg earlier…”
“I am so sorry.”
Just brutal.
It’s one of those moments that remind you that while at the end of the day it’s just a game for fans who can grumble about it and move on, for a 23 year old young man like Jordan Travis, it’s his craft…
