Why Does Rep. Marjorie Greene Have a Problem With Kari Lake?

There’s always a little bit of drama going on within the Republican Party, particularly now with Donald Trump at the heart of it and seemingly primed to once again run away with the GOP nomination. While a lot of the division comes between the more corporate, traditional wing of the party there’s certainly some within Trump’s corner as well, and it shouldn’t exactly be a surprise that none other than Representative Marjorie Greene and Arizona’s Kari Lake are currently at the center of it.

Brian Metzger with Business Insider writes:

“There’s no love lost between Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and failed 2022 gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake, according to a new report.

The Georgia Republican has told people in private that Lake is a “grifter,” according to Rolling Stone, which cited several sources who have spoken with the congresswoman…”

So what, exactly, is prompting Greene to make these comments? I would imagine it has a whole lot to do with the fact that Kari Lake is widely thought to be one of the front runners when it comes to who Trump is likely to pick as his running mate for the…
