Who’s Showing Up to the Next Republican Debate?

It’s certainly not Trump.

Well, it’s time for another debate for the Republican primary candidates and once again, Donald Trump is not participating. If we’re being honest I don’t blame him. You just know in the eyes of his base, the fact that he’s not there sends the message that if it’s not even worth his time to attend it’s not worth their time to watch. It indicates just how insignificant the whole event is and how little he thinks of his opponents, and of course that’s exactly what he intends.

But, who is actually going to be there?

Kathryn Watson with CNN writes:

“The final Republican debate before the Iowa caucuses will only feature two candidates — former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis — said CNN, the host of the Jan. 10 debate.

CNN announced Tuesday that only Haley, DeSantis and former President Donald Trump have qualified. But Trump, who has skipped the earlier four debates, is opting instead for a FOX News town hall in Iowa at the same time that night, FOX announced Tuesday…”
