Who Does the Trump Conviction Actually Benefit?
Let’s think about it for a moment, and no it’s not just Joe Biden and the Democrats.
Now that some time has passed since the news that former President Donald Trump has been convicted not once, not twice, but on 34 different felony counts, it’s been fascinating to see the nation decompress, and learn about how it’s impacting the election throughout the country. Numbers have shown that it’s having a negative impact on Trump’s election efforts, but for me personally it’s going to be fascinating to see how it impacts the elections of not just Trump or his opponent Joe Biden, but other Republicans.
To be clear, I do think there are some people who are going to benefit and spoiler alert: it’s not just Democrats.
For instance, take Marjorie Greene.
The Georgia lawmaker has made a career from riding on the coattails of Donald Trump and frankly, given the dynamics of her specific career, this will probably help politicians like her more than it would help Joe Biden or Donald Trump. It should come as no surprise that she’s already weighing in.
