What’s Trump Blaming For the NOLA Terrorist Attack? The Border.
Because of course he is.
Like many of us yesterday, I was enjoying a quiet New Years Day off cleaning my apartment and looking forward to enjoying some college football playoffs in the background when I heard the news. There was a terror attack in the city of New Orleans that left dozens insured and killed. There was also an attack in Las Vegas that left multiple people dead as well. There are no words for what a mind numbingly horrific start this was for the New Year, and I can’t help but thinking of all the victims and their families. The sugar bowl, of course, was postponed to ensure security and politicians wasted no time speaking out. Obviously, President-Elect Donald Trump was one of them and he had some interesting thoughts on what took place.

“President-elect Trump blamed the situation at the southern border for the recent attacks in New Orleans and Las Vegas, railing against President Biden for his immigration policies as both cases are being investigated.
The man who plowed a pickup truck into a crowd in New Orleans, killing at least 15 people, has been identified as Shamsud-Din Jabbar — a U.S. citizen from Texas.
