What’s Next For Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema?
Joe Manchin’s not running for reelection in West Virginia. What about Sinema?
As virtually everyone who follows the news by now has heard, West Virginia’s Joe Manchin is not running for reelection to the Senate. Of course, we can certainly speculate about his intentions and what he aims to do moving forward. Personally, I think he’ll be running for President. At the very least it would be fitting for a man who has made a career out of telling the American people how little he cares about them, or the consequences of his actions.
That being said, lost in all the discussion about Manchin has been Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema.
While their approaches to getting to their position of power might have been incredibly different, their careers have evolved into one and the same. They’re arguably interchangeable, feeding off of each other and enjoying their position of leverage within the Democratic Party.
But now, I can’t help wondering what’s going to be next for Kyrsten Sinema and frankly, I have no idea.
Is she going to continue her campaign? Is she going to drop out? Is she going to decide now is the best time to get into the lobbying career she clearly covets and has spent her entire political career working…
