What Biden’s Administration is Doing With Afghanistan’s Frozen Assets is Incalculably Evil.
But, given our country’s history, I can’t say I’m surprised.
I suppose I should begin by reiterating that President Joe Biden made the correct decision last year when he made the decision to withdraw troops from Afghanistan after two decades of a war that was serving no purpose. I was among those who was giving him credit at a time when the overwhelming majority of the media was doing its very best to make the American public believe that what he was doing was dangerous and irresponsible, despite the fact that the alternative was unending occupation and war. War is always messy, and while in an ideal world the withdrawal would have been smoother, Biden made the objectively correct decision to pull troops out of the country.
That said, Biden’s most recent and frankly bizarre decision in regards to Afghanistan and its frozen assets are incalculably evil.
