Well, We’re Sending $8 Billion More in Military Aid to Ukraine.

I’m so tired of it.

Since the beginning of the War in Ukraine, it’s been surreal and unsettling to say the least to see the amount of money the United States has handed over in military aid. While most of us would agree that Russia’s declaration of war was horrific and the people should be supported, we can’t really blame Americans for getting frustrated at the amount of money that has been sent to fund a war on foreign soil that we’re not even supposed to be involved in.

Well, we’ve learned unsurprisingly that more money’s going.

Laura Kelly with The Hill writes:

“…President Biden on Thursday announced an estimated $8 billion in aid for Ukraine, drawing down billions of dollars in military stockpiles from the Pentagon that were at risk of expiring Sept. 30, providing an additional Patriot air defense battery and expanding training for F-16 pilots.

The announcement comes ahead of a Thursday meeting between Biden and Vice President Harris and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Washington. The Ukrainian president, following participation at the United Nations General Assembly, is expected to present his “victory plan” to Biden and Harris on how his nation can overcome Russia’s nearly three-year, full-scale military…
