Well, Donald Trump’s Being Racist Again.

Shocker, I know.

Ah, Donald Trump.

The man never really shies away from telling us exactly who he really is, and his recent public remarks were certainly no exception to that tendency. In front of the camera recently, Trump made some revealing but not particularly surprising comments that gave us a little bit of an insight into how he feels about certain areas and — by extension — a specific demographic of people.

Trump said:

“The most important part of what is coming up is to guard the vote, and you should go into Detroit, Philadelphia, and some of these places, Atlanta, and you should go into some of these places, and we have to watch those votes when they come in…”

Detroit, Philadelphia, Atlanta…

Gee, I wonder what it is about the people voting in those cities that he’s so concerned about? I wonder why he decided those were the cities he was going to name specifically.

Well, Representative Cori Bush figured it out pretty quickly, and wrote in response:

“Detroit is 77.9% Black Philadelphia is 43% Black Atlanta is 48.2% Black This is a clear reference to Black voters in swing-states. This man is currently facing four criminal indictments, including two for election subversion. He should never hold public office EVER again.”

That just about sums it up, doesn’t it?

Donald Trump is putting his racism on full display once again, and making it clear that he has a problem with Black voters in swing-states. They are the top perceived threat to his political ambitions, and so naturally he’s going to argue that cities where they make up a large portion of the demographics should have their elections monitored carefully.

Of course, his base eats it right up.
