We Need to Talk About President Joe Biden’s Roll in the Democrats’ Loss of the 2024 Election.

He is absolutely not free from blame.

Just like everyone else who considers themselves even remotely on the left, I’m still trying to process the results of the 2024 election. I’m going to give myself the grace to feel what I’m feeling about it, and allow myself to be frustrated, angry, sad, or just numb and sometimes all at once. It’s difficult to come to terms with given everything that’s at stake, and frankly once we’re ready people owe it to themselves and quite frankly the future of the country to examine what happened, and how best to avoid it in the future.

Joe Biden is not absolved from blame.

Not at all.

In the days and weeks that lie ahead there will be plenty of time and space to talk about Kamala Harris, how she ran her campaign and what she should have done differently. For starters, perhaps parading around a war hawk like Liz Cheney wasn’t the brightest idea but for now, I digress.

Let’s not forget that Joe Biden was not supposed to run.
