“Vote more democrats into office so Manchin and Sinema have less influence.”

A response to what has essentially become the latest version of ‘vote blue no matter who’.

First, let me begin by saying I have absolutely nothing against people who felt as though they had no other legitimate alternative to voting for Joe Biden over Donald Trump. Particularly for progressives in swing states, many felt as though it was a choice between the lesser of two evils and as disappointed as they might have felt with Joe Biden, many understandably determined that the alternative was far worse. All that being said, it’s been fascinating to watch more loyal liberal voters attempting to grapple with just how fundamentally ineffective Joe Biden has been not even when it comes to dealing with Republicans, but with members of his own party.

If one were to make the assumption that Joe Biden actually wants his “build back better” agenda passed, one would probably assume or at least hope that Biden would put up some semblance of a fight to get it through the houses of congress, and signed into law. Of course, for months on end we have seen Senators Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema and those who hide behind them acting as de facto Presidents and obstructing virtually anything that the party might theoretically want to get done.
