Hillary Clinton just won’t go away.
Much to the frustration of those of us on the left, the 2016 Democratic nominee who managed to lose to Donald Trump has not relinquished her status within the party, and continues to cling to attempts to remain relevant. Of course, it’s not exactly difficult considering the Democratic establishment absolutely adores her. Well, with all that being considered, is it really any surprise that her name is apparently being floated as a potential nominee in 2024?
Over the past week or so, there have been a number of articles written — whether it be in The New York Post, The Wall Street Journal, or The Hill — that have not just suggested a Hillary Clinton 2024 run, but that she’s the party’s best hope.
Oh, where to begin…
Unfortunately, it should go without saying that these ideas aren’t coming out of nowhere. There’s a reason we are seeing these articles being written and published around the same time in legacy establishment media outlets around the same time.
It’s because the pundit and lobbyist class actually love the idea, and they’re testing it with the public.
