Trump’s Supporters Are Directing Threats to Georgia Grand Jurors.
They’re going to get somebody killed.
It’s been just a few days since news broke that Donald Trump would be indicted on a fourth charge, this time having to do with Georgia’s election system during the 2020 election. You know…that very same election the former President swore was rigged against him that it turns out he apparently had an active role in attempting to rig himself. Well as one would probably guess, his base is not exactly taking it well and it should come as no surprise that the same group that rioted in the Capitol are threatening the grand jurors for the Georgia case.
Blayne Alexander and Ryan J. Reilly with NBC News report:
“The purported names and addresses of members of the grand jury that indicted Donald Trump and 18 of his co-defendants on state racketeering charges this week have been posted on a fringe website that often features violent rhetoric, NBC News has learned.
NBC News is choosing not to name the website featuring the addresses to avoid further spreading the information…”
There’s a reason people reacted the way that they did when Trump posted on his social media that he would come after anyone who came after him, and this development just about sums it up.
