Trump’s Been Taken Off the Ballot in Colorado.

Is this a sign of things to come?

Legal issues aside, Donald Trump has been in his element. He thrives on the campaign trail and we’ve been witness to that firsthand. He gets to air whatever grievances might be bothering him, and there’s a significant portion of the country more than willing to eat it up. All that being said, just because Trump’s managed to capitalize on his legal troubles from a campaign perspective doesn’t mean that it’s all magically going away.

In fact, in the state of Colorado it appears as though things are catching up with the former President.

Or at least, that’s what we’d like to believe anyways.

“A divided Colorado Supreme Court on Tuesday declared former President Donald Trump ineligible for the White House under the U.S. Constitution’s insurrection clause and removed him from the state’s presidential primary ballot, setting up a likely showdown in the nation’s highest court to decide whether the front-runner for the GOP nomination can remain in the race.

The decision from a court whose justices were all appointed by Democratic governors marks the first time in history that Section 3 of the 14th Amendment has been used to disqualify a presidential…
