Trump is Reacting to His Conviction Exactly How You Would Expect.
The former President is fuming.
It actually happened.
Adam Reiss and Dareh Gregorian with NBC write:
“…A New York jury found former President Donald Trump liable Tuesday for sexually abusing writer E. Jean Carroll in a Manhattan department store in the 1990s but not liable for her alleged rape.
The jury awarded her $5 million in damages for her battery and defamation claims…”
Accountability.
For once.
The former President is actually facing more consequences for his actions than he arguably ever has in his entire life, and it’s something I genuinely was not expecting to see. There are no words to describe how happy I am for E. Jean Carroll, and I’m hoping she is able to find some sence of peace and closure after everything she has been through.
All that being said of course, Donald Trump is naturally handling it exactly as one probably expected.
