Trump is Demanding His Trial be Delayed Until After the Election.

Let’s talk about his game plan.

It’s been discussed on a regular basis how we can always count on Donald Trump to attempt to portray himself as a victim, no matter what the circumstances are. He is not wired to simply accept defeat, or take accountability for anything, and it’s frankly amusing to watch him convince a base full of people who claim to want an alfa leader that he has been wronged.

Well now, as predicted, he’s going to bringing his new indictment troubles into the upcoming election and is even going so far as to try and to get the trial delayed until after the election takes place.

Josh Gerstein and Kyle Cheney with Politico write:

“Donald Trump on Monday called for a lengthy delay before he goes to trial for allegedly hoarding military secrets at his Mar-a-Lago estate, contending that proceeding while he remains a candidate for president would make it virtually impossible to seat an impartial jury.

“Proceeding to trial during the pendency of a Presidential election cycle wherein opposing candidates are effectively (if not literally) directly adverse to one another in this action will create extraordinary challenges in the jury selection process and limit the Defendants’ ability to secure a fair and…
