The Time is Now For Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Let’s talk about what the polls say about the New York congresswoman.
As others might have caught on to like I did, Vermont senator Bernie Sanders has been touring the nation with none other than New York congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. As this continues, it has become increasingly clear as Bernie Sanders’ time in the Senate begins to wind down that he’s looking to pass the torch.
Clearly, it’s AOC in mind and for good reason.
The progressive movement in the United States needs a new face, and there is no better natural option given her exposure. Bernie is getting her ready to run for either the Senate or the Presidency. One would assume that this is an indication she’s ready, and why not?
The polling tells us the time is now.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is seen as the “face” of the Democratic Party according to new polling.
In a Co/efficient survey conducted from May 7 to May 9 among 1,462 likely voters, 26% identified Ocasio-Cortez as the face of the Democratic Party. Another 26% said there is no one currently leading the party, while 22% chose “other.”
