The Polling For President Donald Trump’s Handling of the Economy Does Not Bode Well For Him.

Not that he cares, but it’s certainly worth noting.

It’s hard to believe it hasn’t even been three months of Trump’s presidency yet. It genuinely feels like a lifetime considering the way he undeniably hit the ground running in his attempts to get what he wants accomplished. He’s wasted absolutely no time, and I’d be lying if I didn’t acknowledge that there’s a piece of me that wished Democrats could be as aggressive as he is. But that’s the way the political system has been fundamentally structured in recent decades, isn’t it?

All that said, perhaps nothing associated with Donald Trump’s presidency has dominated the headlines quite as much as the trade wars, and obviously understandably so. It’s frankly a little bit disturbing to think about how such a significant portion of the country is unwilling to understand or come to terms with how much this is going to impact them.

Ariel Edwards-Levy with CNN writes:

“Americans are not impressed with President Donald Trump’s stewardship of the economy, according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS, putting him underwater on the nation’s top issue even as he sees ratings among the best of his presidential career on other key priorities.
