The Lies From Our Lawmakers Are Just Getting Sadistic.

They have absolutely no sense of shame.

Well, let’s start with the obvious, shall we?

Washington D.C. is really nothing but a f*cking cesspool.

Honestly, how can we even bother pretending otherwise at this point, when it’s proven to us on a consistent basis? Oftentimes, it’s important to note, literally at the expense of not just overall stability and comfort for the American people, but our lives as well. Having written about politics daily for over three years now, there are days where in the midst of all the exhaustion and frustration I and so many others continue to feel about the actions or lack thereof taken by our lawmakers in D.C., sometimes it feels as though there’s nothing that can surprise us anymore. Frankly, there’s not much that does. At all.

But, every once in a while there’s a story that still, no matter how used to it I might be, will just feel like a slap in the face. Recently, I stumbled across a story involving Senator Chuck Grassley that caught my attention for that very reason.
