The House Ethics Committee Won’t Release the Gaetz Report. Why Not?
Something’s up, and the American public deserves to know what’s going on.
Well, it happened.
As I sat down to write this, the notification from The Washington Post crossed my phone screen announcing that far right wing Representative Matt Gaetz has decided to withdraw his name from consideration for the role of Attorney General in Donald Trump’s upcoming administration.
It’s not surprising, considering the reports that have been swirling around him for years now about how he may have engaged in sex trafficking of a minor. Even with Donald Trump’s significant hold on the Republican Party, needless to say that these types of serious allegations would be too much for him to try and figure his way out of. That man doesn’t belong anywhere near a position of power at all, let alone as Attorney General.
And yet…we’re still waiting for the House Ethics Committee to release their report on the investigation into what happened.
