The Ecosystem is Collapsing, but Ron DeSantis Has Other Concerns.

It’s all about distractions while the planet dies.

Well, it’s been another summer of record setting heat waves and climate catastrophe. Whether it be unprecedented heat waves out west or people in northern Italy waking up to ice and water flowing down their streets with high winds and hail, it feels as though we can’t go one day without people pointing out more disturbing indicators that the climate collapse is here, and happening in full force.

The gulf of Mexico, of course, has not been exempt.

As waters in the gulf of Mexico reach horrific temperatures that climbed into the nineties, it didn’t take long to see the rapid effects on the ecosystem. In Texas, thousands upon thousands of fish have washed up on shore because the temperatures are so high they cannot survive in the gulf. Considering his own state of Florida also has shorelines on the gulf of Mexico, you would think that Florida governor and Presidential candidate Ron DeSantis might show at least a little bit of concern about his state’s unique ecosystem.

Unfortunately and yet unsurprisingly however, DeSantis has another set of concerns.
