The Donor Class is Already Coming to Kyrsten Sinema’s Rescue.

And she hasn’t even officially announced that she’s running again.

Of all the politicians in Washington D.C., there are few lawmakers within the Democratic Party who are more universally despised than Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema, and we all know why. She has spent her tenure within the halls of power actively working against any major goal the left might like to accomplish. Personally, when I watched the infamous clip of her curtsying and gleefully giving the thumbs down to a $15 minimum wage increase and pathetically trying to get Mitch McConnell’s attention before she did it, it was hard for me to envision disliking a politician more than her.

Now here we are, with politicians gearing up for their 2024 run, and Arizona’s Democratic Party having already found a challenger in Ruben Gallego who — in a pleasant twist — is already outraising Sinema.

But of course, the donor class is going to come to Sinema’s rescue.

Alexandra Marquez with NBC News writes:

“Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema’s campaign raised over $2.1 million in the first quarter of this year, with over half of that coming from donors who gave at least $3,300 — the maximum per-election individual donation to a Senate campaign.
