The Debate Was a Chance For Donald Trump to Shift the Momentum. Will He Agree to Another One?
I wonder what the former President is going to do.
Give how things went for her on Tuesday night, it really should come as no surprise that Vice President wasted no time in calling for another debate with former President Donald Trump.
I mean, why wouldn’t she? From very early on she was in total and complete control, and had no issues whatsoever offering up the bait that Trump was more than happy to take. The surreal thing watching as well was that you could almost feel as though he was thinking that as well, and still couldn’t help himself. We watched him over the course of the debate get angrier and angrier because he knew he was playing right into her hands, and having a worse debate performance than we have potentially ever seen him have.
And the thing is, that was his chance, too.
She sucked the wind right out of his sails when she announced she intended to run and Biden endorsed her, and this was his opportunity to get some of that momentum back. He failed tremendously, and given what we have seen from him and his demeanor since her emerged on the poltiical stage, it just feels almost safe to assume that that’s only going to make things worse.
