The American People Don’t Want a Biden vs. Trump Rematch.
So what does that mean for the upcoming election?
As we prepare for another GOP primary and head into the next general election cycle, it’s impossible for me not to be frustrated at the options the mainstream political parties have left us with. With each poll that comes out, as of right now it’s getting harder and harder for me to envision a scenario outside of another Joe Biden vs. Donald Trump rematch.
It shouldn’t be lost on us how much of an utter disaster and nightmare that election will be if nothing changes, and it appears as though at least 44% of the country agrees with me.
Ben Kamisar with NBC News writes:
“Forty-four percent of registered voters say they are willing to consider supporting a third-party or independent presidential candidate if President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump are the two major party nominees in 2024 — and the group includes more Democrats than Republicans, according to new NBC News polling.
A majority of all registered voters, 53%, say they wouldn’t consider voting for another candidate in a matchup between Biden and Trump next year…”
Iceberg.
Dead ahead.
