Ted Cruz Hates Free Speech. Who Would’ve Thought?

Right wing lawmakers aren’t shy about their hypocrisy.

When you follow politics regularly, it feels almost inevitable that you’re going to reach a point where the cowardice displayed by our lawmakers becomes virtually impossible to ignore. The thirst for power, the arrogance, the shameless way in which they bow their heads no matter what has taken place, sometimes it feels as though politicians don’t even attempt to hide just how deeply shallow they are. Of course, it’s hard to find a better example for the quintessential cowardly, craven politician than Texas Senator Ted Cruz.

Recently, he decided to remind us that he’s a hypocrite, too.

Elizabeth Elkind with FOX News writes:

“Sen. Ted Cruz on Tuesday called on Stanford University to punish the group of law school students responsible for heckling a Trump-appointed judge who was invited to speak at the California college last week.

“It was deeply disturbing to watch the viral video that captured Stanford Law students harassing and insulting Judge Kyle Duncan, a sitting federal circuit judge, who had been invited by the school’s Federalist Society chapter to speak at a school-sanctioned event,” Cruz wrote in a letter to top Stanford University officials on Tuesday, obtained…
