Some European Countries Are Beginning to Recognize a Palestinian State.
Tides might be turning.
It’s genuinely impossible for me to really find the right words to talk about what’s currently going on in Palestine, and the acts of genocide that have been waged on its people by the state of Israel. Every single day, we’re seeing images of dying children on the cold floor of an overrun hospital. Tens of thousands of children have been slaughtered, and even more are starving, living off of things like grass and whatever their increasingly desperate parents are able to salvage. Their buildings are being leveled, encampments destroyed, and even the United States military is having trouble getting aide through.
For months now, it feels as though we’ve been reaching a breaking point. There is too much evidence of the atrocities and genocidal acts that the state of Israel is committing to ignore, and tensions are rising all over the world as people call on their nations to act and withdraw aide.
Well, we may have finally reached that tipping point. Not only did the international criminal court and the prime minister of France argue for Netanyahu to face trial for his crimes, multiple European countries have decided they are going to recognize a Palestinian state.
