It’s hard to believe how quickly the 2024 general election is approaching. In just about five short months, we’ll be deciding once again whether the country is going to re-elect former President Donald Trump, or President Joe Biden.

What we all wanted to see, right?

Well, it’s about that time where Trump’s going to be wanting to do some serious considerations for his running mate. I don’t expect an announcement until the Republican convention next month, but it’s been interesting to see who’s apparently making the short list. One name, at least for me, stood out.

Brett Baier and Paul Steinhauser with FOX News write:

“With the start of the Republican Party’s presidential nominating convention less than six weeks away, former President Donald Trump’s campaign is picking up the pace in vetting the potential running mates.

The process has started in earnest with documents being requested from several prospective contenders for the 2024 GOP vice presidential nomination, sources on Wednesday confirmed to Fox News. They add that paperwork is being exchanged and note that they are entering a different phase of the running mate search.
