Sen. Lindsey Graham is Now Calling For the Bombing of Iran.
Because that would end well?
It’s been impossible to turn on the TV without hearing about the devastating death and destruction going on in Israel and Palestine. Given the gravity of the situation, it would be nice if cooler heads could prevail but of course, none other than South Carolina’s Senator Lindsey Graham seems bound and determined to ensure that doesn’t happen. In fact, he has now taken the opportunity to go on national media and call for the bombing of Iran.
Jordan Uhl shared a clip of the conversation on Twitter, which went:
“CNN: You’re saying that you would want the United States and Israel to bomb Iran, even in the absence of direct evidence of their involvement in this attack.
Lindsey Graham: Yeah.”
Oh, where to begin…
At this point, it should go without saying that the right wing will seize any opportunity it can possibly find to start conflict. This is just how people like Lindsey Graham are wired, and it certainly doesn’t hurt that large donors like Lockheed Martin or Boeing wouldn’t mind more war as well.
