Ron DeSantis Says He Would Pardon Donald Trump.
Kissing up won’t save his campaign.
When signing up to run for President, I’m confident that everyone surrounding Florida governor Ron DeSantis knew it wasn’t going to be easy, especially when it comes to running against former President Trump. But if we’re being honest, I’m not sure they anticipated just how much of a struggle it would be, or how hard it would be to run on a message that was resonating with people outside the state of Florida. In fact, considering he’s projected to lose his own home state by a significant margin, it appears it’s really not resonating there anymore, either.
Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that DeSantis struggles to come across as an actual human being instead of an AI generated computer image. For anyone who’s seen it, the video of him posturing on stage over a child in the audience with the most uncomfortable, frozen smile on his face as he patiently waited for her to finish her question in a pose he thought would be good for pictures was probably one of the most awkward images of the campaign season thus far.
All things considered, it shouldn’t be surprising that the sense of desperation resonating from the DeSantis campaign continues to be growing and now, the signs involve Donald Trump’s legal woes. DeSantis has officially conceded that he…
