Ron DeSantis, 2028?

Does the Florida Governor have a better chance if he runs again in 2028?

Before even making it to the New Hampshire election, Florida Governor and presidential hopeful Ron DeSantis made the decision to bring an end to his presidential campaign. Smart move, all things considered. There was absolutely no viable path to him getting anywhere in this election. Better to stop early than get embarrassed, right?

Of course, we all know that was at the root of the decision.

There is absolutely no way that DeSantis doesn’t run again in the near future and in fact, people are already beginning to talk about it.

Zachary Basu with Axio writes:

“Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ behavior since suspending his presidential campaign a week ago has the hallmarks of a candidate who has learned from his mistakes — and is eyeing a course correction for a potential round two.

Why it matters: Republicans have privately and publicly marveled at how much more comfortable and effective DeSantis has appeared in his recent communications…”

Its been a mere couple of weeks or so since DeSantis suspended his campaign, and evidently we’re already doing this…
