Republicans Don’t Want You Talking About the Abortion Drug Ban.

They know how unpopular it is.

As we all know, the supreme court’s decision to overturn Roe vs. Wade back in June of 2022 was a decision decades in the making. It was the case and point example of how calculated, focused, and patient the right wing has proven itself to be when working towards their goals, and their willingness to stick to them no matter how unpopular they have proven to be. The reaction across the political spectrum was immediate, with protests sparked on the right and legislators in right wing states immediately pouncing on the opportunity to strip women of the literally life saving and life changing rights they have enjoyed for decades.

While there have been a slough of other issues we have had to focus on since this decision was made and immediate impacts were felt across the country, it should go without saying that — as expected — the GOP’s endeavors when it comes to abortion rights did not end there. They’re already coming for abortion rights in blue states and of course, it should come as no surprise that leadership are absolutely not interested in talking about it.
