Progressive lawmakers are fighting back, and it’s incredibly refreshing to see.
As irritating and frustrating as West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin might be, it’s admittedly equally as frustrating to feel compelled to discuss his actions or lack thereof on such a frequent basis. I genuinely do not enjoy it, but it feels difficult not to considering the fact that he has made himself the center of virtually everything that’s going on in Washington D.C. That being said, it’s was incredibly refreshing to stumble across a story that is not entirely focused on him, but rather progressive lawmakers openly fighting back.
On MSNBC, Representative Katie Porter took to the television air waves to call out Joe Manchin directly, following her passionate argument for universal childcare to say:
