Representative Ilhan Omar has had enough of Joe Manchin’s games.
I mean, haven’t we all?
There are few among democratic politicians who are doing a better job of getting under the skin of the left than Joe Manchin. As I’ve said before I have grown genuinely tired of discussing him, but considering the fact that he is quite literally acting as the de facto president and essentially represents everything wrong with the democratic party, do any of us really have a choice? All that being said, Manchin appears to really be getting underneath the skin of progressive lawmakers as well. Among them: Representative Ilhan Omar.
After Biden, of course, floated a significantly lower reconciliation budget of $1.9-$2.2 trillion, Manchin was asked about it. Of course, the de facto president reminded reporters that his price tag would be around $1.5.
Ilhan Omar took her frustration public, tweeting:
