Rep. Nancy Pelosi STILL Hasn’t Talked to the Bidens.
Sometimes it’s fun to follow the drama.
It feels like it’s been an eternity since Joe Biden left office and yet, it’s only been a few weeks since he left the White House and has quietly stepped away from the public eye as most of us knew he would. I still don’t think we’ve fully processed as a nation what we know was likely happening behind the scenes with him as he was so often shielded from the public eye.
But nevertheless here we are, and a lot of us are still left to wonder about the what if’s when it came to Biden, his campaign for re-election that never should have happened in the first place, and how different things could be if he hadn’t run or dropped out sooner. It was a spectacle that we never should have had to experience, and needless to say it made the entire nation uncomfortable.
Ah, but that’s where the woman behind the entire campaign to bring it to an end comes into play. None other than congresswoman Nancy Pelosi. No surprise really, considering she has been without question one of the most powerful and influential politicians in Democratic circles for decades now.
Evidently, she STILL hasn’t spoken to the Biden family.
Ariel Zilber with Yahoo News writes:
“…Pelosi, who still represents San Francisco in Congress, said she hadn’t spoken to the Bidens since their falling out last summer, when the longtime Democrat banded together with party power brokers to push the then-president out of the race in the wake of his disastrous debate performance in the summer.
The move left a sour taste in the Bidens’ mouths. Last month, Jill Biden told the Washington Post that Pelosi’s actions were “disappointing” in light of the fact that “we were friends for 50 years.”…”
I have to be honest, with the full weight and scope of everything that is currently happening and the speed with which it’s all taking place, there’s a little piece of me that wants to step back and just look at the drama for a second.
What else can you do but laugh?
Did the Biden family really expect anything different? We’re they so insulated from public perception and reality of what’s taking place that they didn’t expect one of the most powerful people in the Democratic Party to take action and do something about what we all were seeing?
They genuinely do not care.
They are fundamentally incapable of understanding and acknowledging the weight and consequences of their actions when they made the decision to run again, and it’s abundantly clear that they are more bitter about feeling disrespected by Nancy Pelosi than the fact that they helped hand Trump the Presidency.
