Rep. Marjorie Greene is Now Comparing Trump to Jesus Christ.
And no, I’m not surprised.
It should go without saying that following the announcement that former President Donald Trump was convicted of 34 felonies, the rhetoric coming from his voters and his supporters in Congress and the Senate might get a little bit…shall we say, over the top. Naturally, it really hasn’t disappointed. Day after day it continues, and at every chance they’ve gotten they’ve lamented the fact that he’s supposedly got a target on his back, and insisted he’ll come back and win anyways. Of course, it shouldn’t surprise any of us that none other than Georgia congresswoman Marjorie Greene decided she was going to take it up a notch.
You know, for the headlines…
At a speech at a Trump rally, Greene said:
“The Democrats and the fake news media want to talk about ‘Trump is a convicted felon.’ You want to know something? The man that I worship is also a convicted felon. And he was murdered on a Roman cross…”
So, that’s what we’re doing now?
