Rep. Marjorie Greene is Intoducing Her Legislation to Rename the Gulf of Mexico.
It’s only been a few days, but the full blown nonsense has already started.
It’s been just a few days since President Donald Trump was sworn in for his second term as President of the United States. Suffice it to say that thus far, it’s going about exactly how many of us probably would have expected. And of course it’s not just Donald Trump. His supporters are certainly embracing this opportunity as well, and it should come as no surprise that none other than Georgia lawmaker Marjorie Greene is wasting no time to ensure she’s in that spotlight and pushing whatever silly agenda she can think of.
Right now it’s about renaming the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America.
Apparently, that’s important.

“Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Georgia Republican, has voiced her support for renaming the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America, introducing and pushing a bill to implement the change shortly after President Donald Trump signed an executive order directing the name to be changed…
…In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Greene, a staunch Trump ally, wrote on Thursday: “…Congress must pass my bill renaming the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America. This funds the actual renaming on all mapping in our government. We have to force this to happen and we should! We rename post offices all the time this isn’t complicated.”

It’s moments like these where everything sinks in, and you realize how little shame these people actually have. Los Angeles is burning. People are unable to afford rent. People can’t afford healthcare. Kids are going to bed hungry. But this…this is what they’re presenting to the American people.
They’ll give you a middle finger straight to your face, laugh, and ask what you’re going to do about it. After all, this is what they’ve been able to get away with for years now.
It’s just so incredibly insulting, and embarrassing. They don’t just despise the left they despise their own voters. What other conclusion can you come to? If they actually cared, this nonsense wouldn’t even be a talking point. But here we are, and the distractions are already beginning. Throw all the red meat at the base and laugh as they get away with lining their own pockets and helping the wealthy.
There’s no chance this passes, or goes anywhere. But that’s what makes it even more insulting, right? It’s nothing but a game to them, and it’s the American people who suffer as a result.
