President-Elect Donald Trump is Now Threatening Tariffs on Denmark Over Greenland.

I guess it should come as no surprise that as he prepares to take office once again, Donald trump has wasted absolutely no time in trying to remind us who exactly he is. We’ve been bracing ourselves for the bizarre headlines and they’ve already begun to come in, and it’s been as amusing as it is irritating that so many of them have been revolving around Greenland, and the President-elect’s fascination with Denmark’s territory. His desire for the United States to purchase the territory has been a thing for years, and it has not stopped. In fact, it’s bordering on obsession now given the fact that he has no officially threatened tariffs if Denmark does not sell it.

“President-elect Donald Trump has reiterated his desire for the US to acquire Greenland and the Panama Canal, calling both critical to American national security.

Asked if he would rule out using military or economic force in order to take over the autonomous Danish territory or the Canal, he responded: “No, I can’t assure you on either of those two.
