President Donald Trump Has Added Even More to His Growing List of Tariffs.

The hits just keep on coming, and the American people will suffer as a result.

It should go without saying that over the course of the past few weeks, Donald Trump has wasted no time implementing his agenda, and bombarding us with moves that are fundamentally done to invoke shock and awe among his opponents. We’ve all seen the multitude of tariffs he has imposed, and the instigations to levels that have risen to almost a full blown trade war. Unfortunately, the tariffs are continuing.

Natalie Sherman with BBC News writes:

“Leaders in Europe and Canada have said they will not let Donald Trump’s plans to hit their steel and aluminium exports with tariffs go unchallenged.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said the move would trigger “firm and proportionate countermeasures” while Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also pledged to “stand up for” Canadian workers and businesses.

The comments came after the US president ordered a 25% import tax on all steel and aluminium entering the US, ending previous exemptions for allies including Canada and the EU and marking a major expansion of trade barriers.
