Poor Brett Kavanaugh Would Just Like to Dine Out in Peace.
Those protestors, have they no mercy?
It’s only been a matter of weeks since the highest court in the United States declared just how much it hates women. Not long at all since the Supreme Court decided that anyone with a uterus must allow their body to become heavily regulated property of the state.
Naturally, it only took days for the horror stories to begin.
Just days after Roe vs. Wade was overturned we heard about a ten year old girl in the state of Ohio, who had to travel to the state of Indiana — which will soon have its own restrictive abortion laws in place — in order to get an abortion and not be forced to give birth to her rapist’s baby.
Part of me can’t help wondering what Supreme Court Justices like Brett Kavanaugh — who is directly responsible for the added layer of stress and trauma this little girl and her family went through — felt when he heard about this story. What went through his mind?
Did he think about his own young daughters, Liza and Margaret?
Did he care at all? Is he a human being even capable of shame, or feeling the weight of the impact his power has on others like this little girl in Ohio?
