Polling Wise, it Looks Like Trump is in a Lot of Trouble.

His efforts to secure the GOP nomination might not go as smoothly as he thought.

I suppose I can begin that every once in a while, I genuinely enjoy being proven wrong and this would be one of those times.

Since he even hinted at the chances of running for President again, I have long been under the impression that Donald Trump would almost be able to sail right through to the nomination for the Republican Party. Granted, it might not be as easy as last time and a successful run for the Republican nomination is very different than the general election, but I still thought he was going to be all but guaranteed the nomination. After all, with his only real opponent being Ron DeSantis, it just didn’t feel as though he was going to face too much push back. The base is still in his pocket, right?

Or so we thought…
