Pelosi Opposes Biden Cancelling Student Loan Debt. Let’s Discuss Why.

As I have said countless times before, money in politics is the issue I care about probably more than any others. Namely because it effects virtually everything else that matters that matters to me, such as universal healthcare and combatting the climate crisis. In spite as how popular these issues might be among the voters, when considering why nothing seems to be done in response, we need look no further than the moneyed interests who — through legalized bribes otherwise known as Super pac and campaign contributions — pay our lawmakers to serve their will as opposed to that of the American people. Unfortunately, yet another example of how money influences the actions or lack thereof coming from our lawmaker came from Nancy Pelosi.

Recently, one might have noticed how Nancy Pelosi’s admittedly unsurprising shift to being against the cancellation of student loan debt. As lawmakers like Chuck Schumer and Ayanna Pressley continue to urge President Biden to use his executive authority to cancel student loan debt and free millions of people from the burden of predatory loans, Nancy Pelosi took a different tune. Pelosi said:
