Now Trump’s Attorney is Being Threatened With Jail.

At this point, virtually everyone who has access to the news, all over the world is aware of the fact that former President and current candidate for reelection donald Trump has been facing some legal issues. Four indictments to be exact, in regards to issues ranging from his role in the January 6th insurrection to previous sexual assault allegations involving a woman named E. Jean Carroll.

Well, now Trump’s attorney is being threatened with some jail time.

Lauren Irwin and Zach Schonfeld with The Hill writes:

“U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan, the federal judge overseeing former President Trump’s defamation trial brought by columnist E. Jean Carroll, threatened to send Trump attorney Alina Habba to jail after she interrupted him during Friday’s proceedings.

“You are on the verge of spending some time in the lockup. Now sit down,” Kaplan told Habba during closing arguments.

The moment came minutes after Friday’s proceedings began and took place just before the jury entered the room for the day.
