When it comes to politics across the Democratic and Republican Parties here in the United States, one thing so many of them seem to have in common is a staggering lack of self awareness. I mean, there are times where what comes out of there mouths will catch me off guard. Sometimes you wonder if it’s on purpose, or if they’re genuinely that obtuse. I like to imagine it’s a little of both, but nevertheless they keep at it.

The latest of these politicians being, of course, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, who decided that he was going to way in on none other than the age of Joe Biden and Mitch McConnell.

Bryan Metzger with Business Insider writes:

“…House Speaker Mike Johnson, along with other top House GOP leaders, issued a statement after the report declaring that the 81-year-old Biden was “certainly unfit for the Oval Office.”

But Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, who turns 82 next week, isn’t taking that stance — and is even suggesting that age will also be a concern for the 77-year-old former President Donald Trump in the 2024 election.”

Really?
