No, Trump’s Still Not Going to Jail.
Liberals need to accept this.
Yes, as we all know, the January 6th committee recommended charges against Donald Trump. We all knew it was coming and yes, we all know it was warranted.
No, he’s still not going to go to jail.
At this point, it’s getting just about as frustrating as it is funny that we’re still even entertaining this conversation.
I suppose I should begin by saying that I don’t take any pleasure in pointing this out. Accountability would be nice, wouldn’t it? It would be nice, for once, to actually see people in positions of wealth, status, and power face the consequences they deserve for their actions. It would also be particularly nice to see those consequences come to someone like Donald Trump. But as liberals celebrate and the back to brunch house moms gleefully share the Occupy Democrats posts to the Facebook timeline, now’s probably a good time to remind people to please, for the love of all that is good and pure, be realistic.
Personally, it’s difficult for me to even care at this point whether the January 6th committee is working with the special counsel. I’m not even sure I would really care if there were charges filed against Donald Trump. Frankly, I’m not even going to believe even that would happen until it does, let alone Trump…
