No, Trump’s Gaffes Won’t “Hurt” Him.

They should have an impact, but they won’t with this GOP base.

There’s no denying Trump’s flailing lately. It certainly feels as though the former President has been left rattled in recent weeks, particularly following the news that his former lawyer Jenna Ellis has pled guilty in relation to charges stemming from the attempted overturning of the 2020 election. He’s been slipping to say the least in public appearances, literally denying Jenna Ellis was even his lawyer on one and not able to form a coherent sentence in another.

But when it comes to these gaffes, and the growing paranoia and frustration they’re stemming from, is it even really going to impact Trump in this primary? Is it going to hurt him at all?

Unfortunately, the answer is no.

I stumbled across a number of articles this morning with headlines that asked their own variation of this same question, and I don’t know how we could come to any other conclusion. One thing that has been crystal clear throughout this primary campaign as it continues to ramp up is that the base has not strayed away from Donald Trump whatsoever.

What evidence do we have that would suggest these gaffes would change any of that?
