Nina Turner’s Opponent is Taking Money From GOP Donors.

Well, the special election in Ohio’s 11th district is just days away, and it’s been made perfectly clear that there is a lot invested in this for both sides of the Democratic party’s divide. After former Cleveland Councilwoman, Ohio State Senator, and top ally of Bernie Sanders was revealed to have a nearly insurmountable lead, it didn’t take long for Hillary Clinton to step in with a rallying cry for the corporate Democrats and their donors to begin funding and endorsing her closest opponent, Shontel Brown.

That said, apparently it isn’t just Democrats who Shontel Brown has been accepting money from.

Matthew Cunningham-Cook with The Intercept writes:

“…newly released campaign finance disclosures show that Brown and a major Democratic PAC supporting her campaign have been heavily funded by donors who usually support Republicans.”

The article goes on to name Robert Kraft, owner of The New England Patriots and staunch Trump supporter who maxed out his donations, and Roger Synenberg, chair of the Cuyahuga County Republican Party who donated $1000 to Brown. A PAC called Democratic Majority…
