Nancy Pelosi Wants Republicans to “Take Back” Their Party.

This is what American politics has devolved into.

When considering the state of the Republican party, there is certainly a lot to be concerned about. Whether it be the increasingly authoritarian nature of their politics, or the fierce opposition to doing anything that would even remotely improve the material condition of the American people, it’s been sort of surreal to see just how much the Republican party has devolved even in just the last fifteen years. Of course, the response of Democratic leaders like Nancy Pelosi has been undeniably frustrating as well.

Who can forget when Nancy Pelosi was lamenting the state of the GOP, saying the nation needs a “strong” Republican party? Well evidently, she hasn’t lost this sentiment.

In a news conference following the establishment of a commission to investigate what led to and happened on January 6th, Pelosi said:

“I’m not here to analyze the Republican Party. All I say is to my Republican friends, and I do have them — take back your party. This is the grand old party, the party that’s done so much for our country. And quite frankly, many…
