Of course she did.

I’ve been trying my very best to ignore Marjorie Taylor Greene, and for good reason.

Like virtually everyone else on the left who follows politics, I am entirely aware that all she is after is attention, creating controversy as a tool to elevate herself and curry favor with a right wing base that has embraced Donald Trump wholeheartedly. That said, unfortunately there are times where one can’t help addressing and responding to the ridiculous nature of her statements, and Greene’s recent remarks about mask mandates is one of them.

On an episode of a recent conservative podcast called The Water Cooler, congresswoman Greene decided that she was going to compare the House of Representative’s mask mandates to Nazi Germany.

“You know, we can look back at a time in history where people were told to wear a gold star, and they were definitely treated like second class citizens, so much so that they were put in trains and taken to gas chambers in Nazi Germany, and this is exactly the type of abuse that Nancy Pelosi is talking about.”
